Know What School District You Live In

Know If Your School District Is Having An Election

The filing period is closed.

The Cape Henlopen, Laurel, Indian River District 3, Milford and Seaford School District Elections are uncontested.

Delmar District, Indian River District 4, and Woodbridge School Districts have elections on May 14th.
Know The Candidates

School Board Election Date is May 14th. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You do not have to be registered to vote in School Board Elections.

There is no early voting for School Board elections.

Deadline to change your party is 5/24/24.

Voters registered at DMV through Automatic Voter Registration (AVR) by August 17, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. and have their party listed as No Party-AVR may change their political party affiliation up to and including on State Primary Election Day, September 10, 2024, in order to vote in their party's State Primary.

Address changes with the Post Office do not update voter registration.

School Board Elections have no early voting.

For the Primary and General elections, you can choose from multiple early voting locations announced by DOE.

This sussex.gop website will be updated on voting locations when the information is available from the DOE closer to the elections.
For Election Day Voting Locations
